Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjártó stated that the issue of allocating 50 billion euros to Kiev was not discussed during his visit to Uzhgorod in the Transcarpathian region of Ukraine, and reported this on his social networks.
“As for the 50 billion euros support to Ukraine, this is not a matter of bilateral relations, it will be Brussels’ turn to discuss this issue,” he said.

There he met with Dmitry Kuleba, head of office of Ukrainian President Andrey Ermak and head of the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It concerned the question of the rights of the Hungarian minority in Transcarpathia.
After Kuleba’s meeting reportedHe said that Ukraine and Hungary have established a special commission to resolve issues related to national minorities. The commission must present its opinions on the solution of problems related to Hungarian minorities to the governments of the two countries within ten days.
