We are working on a project to liquidate the CBA. I would like to see it adopted by the Council of Ministers in the first quarter of this year. – said Tomasz Siemoniak, Minister Coordinator of Special Services, on TOK FM on Monday.
Asked when the project to liquidate the CBA would appear, Siemoniak said he would like it to be adopted by the Council of Ministers in the first quarter of this year. He emphasized that work on the project is underway.

Of course, it is not known what President Andrzej Duda will do with him
– said the minister.
We will want to convince the President that the solution we will adopt will not weaken but strengthen the fight against corruption, and that it is not worth waiting (time – PAP) after the presidential elections

Attack on the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau
He noted that the image of the CBA “is not good,” making the coalition’s determination to liquidate the agency very high. “I know there are honest people in this service, but it cannot be that one of the services in Poland is only associated with problems, scandals, quarrels and strange activities,” Siemoniak explained.
I consider this one of the fundamental issues for the new democratic coalition
– he concluded.
On November 10, the leaders of PO, PSL, Polski 2050 and Links initialed the coalition agreement. Clause 19 of the first part of the agreement states that the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau will be liquidated and its resources and powers will be transferred to other departments, including: to the Anti-Corruption Crimes Department of the Police Central Criminal Investigation Bureau.
Tomasz Siemoniak’s statement indicates the haste of the ruling team. Do they care that much about the dismantling of state institutions?
