Sikorski commented on a video of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen published on the X network platform on the occasion of International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The Minister of Foreign Affairs noted that the subtitle in the video stated that the Auschwitz concentration camp was located in Poland, but no explanation was made regarding the context of the situation at that time.
The Foreign Minister emphasized that when writing about the Nazi camp at Auschwitz, it should be taken into account that this camp was established under German occupation.
