A scandalous recording of the European Commission on Holocaust Remembrance Day has appeared online. In the film, which includes Ursula von der Leyen, a lie about the Second World War is promoted.
The recording remembered the names of the victims of the Holocaust. The names of their places of death appear next to individual characters. These include: Croatia, Greece, Ukraine, Lithuania. At one point we also see the name “Auschwitz Camp”.
The German camp is described as a place in Poland. There is no information that the camp was located in the German-occupied territory. There is not a single fragment in the entire recording that mentions German responsibility for the Holocaust.
Response on the Internet
The European Commission’s behavior sparked a strong reaction online.
At least on Holocaust Remembrance Day, the European Commission must refrain from manipulating the facts. I don’t think any of the authors of this film were unaware that KL Auschwitz was a German concentration camp, located in the areas that the Germans annexed to their country after their unprovoked aggression against Poland in 1939. Please correct.
Dear Mrs von der Leyen and the European Commission, the correct form is “German Nazi death camps in occupied Poland”. Using the full, accurate term will help promote a historically accurate narrative and the correct identification of Germany as solely responsible for the horrors of the death camps during World War II.
After my comments yesterday on the words of the German ambassador, who did not have the courage to talk about the crimes of the Germans and used the term “Nazis”, some people wrote to me that today’s “Germans are different”. This is a testament to how they have changed
The insolence of the Germans knows no bounds. In twenty years, saying that Germans committed crimes during World War II will be a crime that will be prosecuted ex officio.
Riding a fishing rod around the cage has an element of perverse ostentation, as it finds understanding among the “smiling Poles”, from Jocker’s wet dreams in Gotham…
According to this logic, the camp was Hertogenarian Dutch, while Kołdyczewo was a Belarusian camp. The state of Poland did not exist during the war, Auschwitz was then Germany.
The Tusk effect is back: Polish death camps.
We have a government that will not respond even when it should. Shame.
The historic policy of whitewashing Germany and blaming Poland for German crimes is still ongoing.
Mr Prime Minister, @donaldtusk is an opportunity to demonstrate freedom of choice and explain to this gang of history launderers that the form of “Auschwitz camp, Poland” is unacceptable for Poland. Maybe you’ll work with the president @AndrzejDuda – even in English. As long as we work together for Poland
