American experts doubted China had enough power to attack Taiwan

A survey of leading US experts showed that they have major doubts about China’s ability to resolve the peninsula issue by force. writes about this Business Name Citing data from the Center for Strategic and International Studies survey of 52 experts.

Only 27 percent of respondents said they strongly or somewhat agreed that the Chinese military has sufficient power to resolve Taiwan’s territorial ownership militarily.

The research states that 96 percent of experts surveyed are completely or somewhat confident that the United States will intervene if China sends troops to Taiwan in the next five years.
