European Union (EU) foreign policy chief Josep Borrell announced that he will make a trip to Ukraine in early February. He made the relevant statement at the press conference he held after the meeting of the foreign ministers of the association in Brussels. TASS.
According to him, the trip will take place in the first or second week of February.
Borrell gave no further details.
Formerly head of European diplomacy statedThat it will not change the focus of the conflict in the Middle East and will not hinder support for Ukraine. He also assured that “Ukrainians should not worry” as support from Europe will remain as strong as before.
Before that, Borrell admitted that the Ukrainian counter-offensive did not bring the desired results. He emphasized that he did not agree with the statements that Ukraine’s victory was impossible and that the support of Western states would not last long.
Previously Borrell supported the idea of transferring long-range missiles to Kiev.
