The EC spokesperson was asked about the words of the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, who announced on social media on Friday that the European Commission confirmed that Poland had met the last three conditions necessary for the full mobilization of structural funds. .

Structural Funds for Poland
Structural funds are funds for the implementation of the EU’s cohesion policy. Poland has more than 76 billion euros.
In mid-December last year, Poland sent the first application for payment of the KPO to the European Commission. From the first payment application, our country will receive almost 7 billion euros (over 31 billion złoty), of which almost 2.8 billion euros from the grant part and 4.2 billion euros from the loan.

The National Reconstruction Plan (KPO) is a program from which Poland will receive EUR 59.82 billion (PLN 261.4 billion), of which EUR 25.3 billion (PLN 110.4 billion) in the form of grants and EUR 34.5 billion (PLN 151 billion) in the form of subsidies. form of preferential loans. The majority of these resources will be invested in the form of financial instruments, which will allow the implementation of projects after 2026, even for the next 30 years.
