The Citizens’ Coalition is attacking Law and Justice because its representatives in the European Parliament voted against recognizing ‘hate speech’ as a crime. The problem is that this concept, especially in the mouths of left-liberal politicians and officials, sounds Orwellian and in fact becomes a bottomless bag into which you can throw literally anything, even criticism. United Right politicians discussed this issue and also reminded the “smiling Poland” party, which recently had a symbol of love, that its slogan was eight stars, indicating what they think should be done with PiS, as well as “Wyp… ‘ of the protests against the “Women’s Strike”.
PiS members voted AGAINST recognizing hate speech as a crime! We will do everything we can to ensure that anyone who intimidates and offends faces consequences!
– thunders the Civic Platform on its official account on the X portal.
PiS members voted against recognizing hate speech as a crime… And you know why? Because they are responsible for all of this, and we will do everything we can to ensure that everyone who has offended, angered, publicly hated, is held accountable and faces the consequences.
– says KO MP Agnieszka Pomaska in a place on social media.
““Any normal person would vote that way.”
However, it seems that there is a small problem with this ‘hate speech’, which was clearly stated in the European Parliament by MEPs Beata Kempa and Patryk Jaki, among others.
Today we are talking about ‘hate speech’, but this needs to be defined. This cannot remain without definition. Something that is hatred deserves the highest punishment. I am against hate, but we cannot mean that ‘hate speech’ actually means punishing opinions, and that is the fundamental difference. That the purpose of this intensification is to punish people for their views, to eliminate people with different opinions, even from political activities or from public life in general.
– emphasized the former head of the Prime Minister’s Office in her speech.
For example, is opposition to mass illegal migration also hate speech? This is how Mr. Jaki and I were treated. For issuing a similar warning about the dangers of illegal migration – I repeat: illegal
– Kempa added.
We were told this is not possible. We must be tried, we must be punished, we must be eliminated from public life. This is what the punishment for alleged ‘hate speech’ should look like? NO. I am for freedom of expression. I am against hate
– emphasized the United Right MEP.
Any normal person would vote like that. The slogan ‘hate speech’ hides left-wing censorship
– wrote Beata Kempa, adding the speech quoted above to a response to the Civic Platform tweet.
It is worth looking at the comments under the heading of the policy of Sovereign Poland, because they are extremely “cultural”, “substantial” and mostly come from Internet users who identify with the “Party of Smiling Poland” , using hashtags such as ‘Silni Razem’. or “Koalicja15Października/K15P”.
According to this project to combat ‘hate speech’, you want to put your enemies in jail. For what? We read: for example for criticizing illegal migration or the LGBTQ community. So, as I understand it, a European Union citizen who now reads police data showing that migrants are committing more crimes will go to jail.
– said Patryk Jaki, Member of the European Parliament, Acting President of Sovereign Poland.
Or, for example, when another citizen, in accordance with his right to freedom to practice his own religion, common sense and scientific knowledge of biology, claims that there are only 2 genders, and not – as you believe – 256. And then? Also going to prison?
– asked the former Deputy Minister of Justice.
You are the heirs of communist ideologies and like them you use beautiful slogans, but all you think about is the destruction of freedom. Herbert Marcuse, your favorite ideologue, wrote directly about what you hide in this document, in “Repressive Tolerance”. And let us quote it now: “Liberating tolerance would therefore mean intolerance towards the right and tolerance towards left-wing movements. So you want to intimidate and terrorize everyone, not for freedom, but because you hate freedom and want to introduce censorship. And there will never be permission for that
– Jaki emphasized in the EP.
That’s exactly how I voted and I’m very proud of it. According to this project, people will be punished for criticizing illegal migration or gender theory. Brag about restricting freedom of expression, introducing censorship, stupidity and murder? I appreciate honesty. Here is my achievement in this area
– he wrote in response to the Civic Platform tweet, attaching a recording of the speech quoted above.
““Idiot murderousness”
It was not only Members of the European Parliament that responded to PO’s attack. The Member of Parliament of Sovereign Poland, Sebastian Kaleta, recalled several facts.
Poland has the right to veto this issue in the EU Council; in recent years the government has blocked this change. Importantly, making ‘hate speech’ a cross-border crime is illegal and would breach treaties. Do you think that “incitement to hatred” is a form of “particularly serious crime with a cross-border dimension”? Aligned with international terrorism, human trafficking or drug trafficking? Eurocrats think so. LGBT is the leading ideology of the EU, because they criticize this ideology, for example by questioning the catalog of hundreds of genders they invented, they simply want to put them in prison
Those who do not want to criminalize ‘hate speech’ will now be mocked, insulted and threatened with ‘love speeches’, and in drastic cases of resistance to political correctness, they will be taken to court.
Internet users eagerly reminded the group that carries tolerance and love on its banners and is so disgusted with hate how many of its voters are disgusted by PiS voters just because they vote for PiS, and what slogans were used not only by their supporters, but also by them even by politicians. Reminders included: MP Witold Zembaczyński, who wears an eight-star slogan on his car, encouraging people to… “love” PiS. Loving PiS differently… In this context, it is worth noting that the KO politician saw nothing wrong in the use of such symbols, and furthermore, he argued that the “eight stars” meaning “j… PiS”, .. .”the motto of his political thought.”
I didn’t expect you to attack your own voters and your own party. It is your environment that has promoted the most hateful slogans in politics.
Everyone!
No exceptions!
The scandal is the idiotic murder behind it and your goal.
“And we will do everything we can to silence conservative people.” Don’t you think like them? You’re going to jail for ‘hate speech’. You’re sick with hatred of other views. When will there be Orwell’s thought police?
“To discover who rules you, you only have to find out who you are not allowed to criticize.” Voltaire
Will Tusk go to jail?
The so-called ‘hate speech’ is a project to install an official left-wing joke and censorship in the legal system. It will be used against defenders of life and the family, against Catholics and simply against critics of the ideological elements of liberal democracy. So it is good that PiS members voted this way and not otherwise
To paraphrase the Gospel, we can say that Civic Platform would like to punish its brother for the mote in his eye, but it does not see the beam in its own eye. It seems that double standards are the only constant in the case of this group and its followers. It’s just a shame that it’s a pretty dangerous weapon.
