Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro harshly criticized Argentinian President Javier Miley’s speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, describing his ideology as Nazi and McCarthyite. The Venezuelan leader made a statement on the issue on his television channel Venezuelan Television.
According to him, the Argentinian people should be upset, ashamed and angry about the mistake Miley made at the Davos summit.
“This is a disgraceful expression of his Nazi ideology, his McCarthyite ideology, between Nazism and McCarthyism. It is not true that he is liberal, liberal, libertarian, no!” said Maduro.
He called Miley a “Nazi and a McCarthyite.”
In his speech in Davos, the Argentinian leader said that Western countries, which built their wealth through free enterprise, are threatened by the constant spread of the ideas of collectivism and socialism, which in various ways drag the countries into poverty. He said free market capitalism was “the only tool that can end hunger and poverty.”
Formerly President of Argentina signed A decree on the implementation of more than 300 reforms in the country to liberalize the national economy. According to the head of state, the implementation of relevant initiatives should be the first step in the restructuring of the republic.
Miley before statedthat those who oppose his policies suffer from Stockholm syndrome.
