†We see that in such difficult times Poland choose wise governments who can expertly guide our country through this difficult period. Citizens know that the possible return of Donald Tusk to power would mean the return of the dark times, when they will be left to themselves even in a period of various political or economic turmoil “- says the foreign minister in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, PiS MP Adam Andruszkiewicz in an interview with the portal wPolityce.pl by commenting on the outcome of the new survey on social changes.
Next up is the Civic Coalition with the result of 25 percent. and a decrease of 2 percentage points. Support for PiS has remained unchanged since the previous survey.
What is the reason for the stable position of the ruling formation? We put this question to the Minister in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Adam Andruszkiewicz.
The result shows that despite the very difficult times, despite the constant economic crisis, the high prices caused by the war, but also the war itself, United Right and Law and Justice can enjoy a very high, stable support
– assesses our interlocutor.
We see that in such difficult times Poland choose wise governments who can expertly guide our country through this difficult period. Moreover, citizens know that the possible return of Donald Tusk to power would mean the return of the dark times, when they will be left to themselves even in times of various political or economic turmoil. Poles remember that even in times of crisis there was no support like the 500 Plus program or other programs we have today.
– underlines the State Secretary in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
†Tusk only wants to destabilize the state”
We also ask our interlocutor about declining support for the Civic Coalition, despite Donald Tusk’s great activity, including on promising raises or “debating” with Jarosław Kaczyński (although only by TikTok for now).
Donald Tusk doesn’t mean it. I can see his pajamas in these videos and proposals that are the height of hypocrisy. During the 8 years of his rule, Poles, including those who worked in the budget sector, did not have such high wage increases, and some of them had no wage increases at all.
– assesses the PiS politician.
Tusk deliberately proposes large raises, knowing that fulfilling these promises is impossible. It has only one goal: to destabilize the current state and overthrow the PiS government. While he must keep in mind that Poland, which has war on its doorstep, is in an extremely dangerous situation, but apparently Tusk is not interested in it, as he is only playing for his own interest, and not for the sake of Poland.
– adds Adam Andruszkiewicz.
Since we are already talking about the topic of war, there is also another related problem, namely inflation, which PiS politicians call “put inflation” and which – as in conversations with our portal – has been addressed by political scientists, incl. Prof. Mieczysław Ryba – determine to some extent whether PiS will lose in the next election or in the third term. Will the current government succeed in meeting this challenge and convincing Poles that we are dealing with put inflation and not “piss inflation”?
We continue to convince Poland of the real effects of inflation, and not just us, because it seems that US President Joe Biden is calling this rampant price “put inflation”. It is natural that Russia, which is playing war, including against the entire West, also affects us economically. However, we are responding: we are introducing inflation shields, lowering taxes, trying to raise salaries, and most importantly – Poles still have jobs, which was not so obvious under the rule of our predecessors, when unemployment could be double digits.
– reminds our interlocutor.
I hope we get through these difficult times with a dry foot and of course – that they pass as soon as possible.
– indicates Andruszkiewicz.
†Just patriotic slogans, but without money we wouldn’t have gotten very far”
We also ask the Undersecretary of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister whether the compromise on the KPO for Poland translates into the results of the poll.
First of all, a strong state is measured by the strength of the economy, and to rebuild our economy after this period of pandemic and war, we will need large resources, including external resources. The KPO guarantees these funds and it is in the interest of our beloved country to use them.
– judges the politician.
Sure, the price is some political bickering, that’s a natural thing. However, these measures will accelerate many of the reforms, putting the economy on a path of rapid development.
– he adds.
The basic issue for us is that Poles can earn good money and live with dignity, and then we would show our strength as a state. Based on patriotic slogans, but without this money we wouldn’t get very far and we’d probably be sold out to Germany or other powers around, and that would turn out pretty badly for us.
– summarizes Adam Andruszkiewicz.
