Mateusz Morawiecki commented on the situation of MPs Wąsik and Kamiński. The former prime minister also referred to the issue of the future president of PiS.
Morawiecki argued on Radio Zet that after Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik leave prison, both will have the right to participate in the votes in the Sejm.
Once they leave prison, MPs have the right to sit and vote in the House of Representatives. I would of course like to introduce them to the Sejm
– he said.
We will not fight with the Marshal Guard. We will show documents that show that we comply with the law and we expect that the law will be implemented in such a way that the gentlemen who have been unjustly deprived of their mandate can exercise their mandate.
– added.
“Protest against free Poland”
He then commented on the issue of attending yesterday’s demonstration.
If the German portal Onet gives 120,000, it means 200,000. Certainly. I think if you count all those who were on the road and those who were on stopped buses and didn’t make it, there were a lot more of them.
– he said.
Despite the frost and snow, they were with us, they came from all over Poland. I am grateful to all Poles who took part in the March of the Free Poles
– added.
During the march, the slogan “The Red Crow” was brought up. When asked whether he thought Donald Tusk should be called that, the former Prime Minister replied:
To me, this metaphor is absolutely valid. In one month he took away many freedoms from us.
The host also asked Mateusz Morawiecki about Jarosław Kaczyński’s possible retirement and whether the former prime minister would fight to become the new head of PiS.
I would like the president to remain the head of PiS for as long as possible, to unite our camp, and then I would also like to participate in this honorable race, in this competition. I would like? Yes
– said Mateusz Morawiecki.
