Whispers from longtime PRL activists to expand the use of force are growing dangerously. The methods used by Donald Tusk’s government are more reminiscent of the actions of the red regime than of democracy. The police entering the Presidential Palace during the President’s absence to arrest the presidential guests staying there – MPs Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik – while the President’s house arrest in Belvedere is a borderline situation! Everything that happened next raises all kinds of red flags. There is a serious question about the safety of President Andrzej Duda. The attack on him is increasing, Tusk is throwing the country into increasing chaos and the legal and constitutional order has been abolished by his people. At the same time, the Baltic countries are increasingly focusing on strengthening security, and Sweden is warning citizens to prepare for an attack from Russia. President Duda’s call today for peaceful demonstrations likely has a second meaning. Any hostile destabilization of a state involves a phase of direct clash.
The case of Ministers Kamiński and Wąsik is a clear and instructive demonstration. It is intended to demonstrate the ruthlessness, cruelty and strength of Tusk’s state. The corruption busters hated by PO were put in a cell like bandits – contrary to the law, despite the presidential pardon. Tusk’s list of names of people covered by the “Zemsta” program is long. One of the first places is the president who yesterday brutally threatened Tusk with jail.

The level of contempt and operational actions directed against the president is shocking. That he could not leave Belvedere yesterday by blocking the gate with a city bus, so that he could not intervene in the case of MPs Kamiński and Wąsik, who were brutally dragged away from the presidential palace by the police, is reminiscent of the worst violent scenarios of the past era. The services that are supposed to protect security, including the security of the head of state, have been involved in the political activities of the current government, which are destabilizing the country. This is supported by all the forces of the Polish People’s Republic, which were suddenly reactivated and formed into a unit that is extremely active in the media and calls for decisive, strong solutions. Here a question arises about the safety of the president, because since the services subordinate to Kierwiński, which carry out his orders, are ready to break into the presidential palace and take out the deputies, imagination suggests further scenarios . An additional factor here is the disgusting anti-presidential narrative, also spread among foreign media, that Andrzej Duda is responsible for the legal chaos.
The president does not succumb to blackmail. Nor does he listen to the sly whispers that, if cornered and forced to “forgive me again,” would make him consider the current illegal actions acceptable. Andrzej Duda today made a special statement on this issue. He reiterated that his pardon remains in effect, that the former ministers are innocent and that he will not rest until they are released.
I am deeply shocked that people have been imprisoned who, I have no doubt, are crystal clear, especially Minister Kamiński. Who always fought for a free Poland, who also fought for it before 1989, as very young people, and then simply wanted a fair and just state and believed that the law must be firmly enforced. Especially the one who builds a modern state that serves society, which should ensure that people can act fairly, so that they do not have to think that if they do not pay bribes, the matter will not be solved; that their integrity is not compromised.
Today they are in prison as a result of the actions of the Polish state. Meanwhile, a number of well-known people, including from the political world, have now been acquitted on charges of corruption. Some even hold their European parliamentary mandate. As President of the Republic of Poland and at the same time a man who believes in a just and fair Poland, I am deeply shocked by this situation. Because they were put in jail despite a presidential pardon. And that it was done with such zeal and cruelty. Both legally – because I have no doubt that when de facto contra legem actions are carried out they involve cruelty, albeit under the guise of the law – and physically and through the media.
I will not rest in the fight for a fair and just Polish state, as I promised my voters. For me, this also means that I will not rest until Minister Kamiński and his colleagues are free again, until they are released from prison.. I will not rest, I tell you, I will not be afraid. I will act legally, in accordance with the Constitution and Polish law, as I have always done until now, and with the possibilities offered by the office of President of the Republic of Poland.
– said the president.
He also called for peaceful demonstrations. “I know that after what is happening today, after the violation of the Constitution and Polish law, after the brutal, strong actions, there is a lot of outrage and anger. I appeal for calm.” – said the president. Outrage grows as events unfold. It is difficult to remain calm when you hear the scandalous and contemptuous words of politicians. Deputy Justice Minister Maria Ejchart responded to the information that detained MP Mariusz Kamiński had started a hunger strike with a cold statement: “Everyone has the right not to eat or drink, this is an individual decision, this is what the right to personal freedom is all about.” Truly urban rhetoric! And this is not an isolated statement.
Today is the 28th day of Tusk’s reign. The destruction of the state is progressing at a galloping pace. The great defenders of the constitution took out the axes of the regime and blindly struck the existing order with them. On December 13, the day the ‘eight-star coalition’ was sworn in, Adam Michnik announced that he had ‘reasons to be proud again’. The same Michnik who considered General Jaruzelski a great “Polish patriot” and “a man who loves Poland.” And while they all speak equally passionately about freedom and democracy, the horrible mouth of neo-communism hangs on all sides. And there are plenty of threats. At a time when all Baltic countries are arming and focusing on security, when Sweden is warning its citizens of an attack from Russia, the Polish government is destabilizing the country, attacking the president and giving up on strengthening defenses. Too obvious a pitfall for such experienced politicians not to notice. So the question returns: who “hired” Tusk and for what?
