“The Labor Chamber of the Supreme Court has the final say on the case of the two MPs – we must wait for this decision,” wrote Szymon Hołownia, Marshal of the Sejm on Platform see you next week. As he argued, he does it… out of “concern for the public interest.” Politicians who commented on the Marshal’s submission do not appear to share his views.
The Marshal of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia, decided today to postpone the Sejm session until next week. On platform
Together with the Presidium, I have decided to postpone the Sejm session until next week. The Labor Chamber of the Supreme Court has the final say on the two MPs’ case – we will have to wait for this decision. The well-being of today’s Polish citizens requires the cooling of political emotions. I promised that I would care for the common good. I absolutely keep this promise

“Please withdraw and apologize.”
The Marshal received several sharp reactions from opposition politicians.
If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work… Please stop embarrassing yourself. The marshal wrote clearly: “decisions of the Supreme Court”. The Supreme Court has already commented on this issue, and it was negative for the Marshal. Please back off and apologize.
So please explain to me what right @PolskaPolicja has to track down MPs when “we have to wait for the last word”. Has someone taken over your account?
Mr President, as I noted during the Presidium of the Sejm, the final word, in accordance with the law on the Supreme Court, belongs to the Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs, which ruled on appeals on January 5, where your decisions. This follows from art. 26 pair 1 point 11 of the law. Thus, the dispute over powers between the chambers was resolved on January 4 by the first President of the Supreme Court. The hearing of these cases tomorrow by the Chamber of Judge Prusinowski, contrary to the decision of the First President, contrary to the jurisdiction of his Chamber and contrary to the authority of the case already tried, is nothing but an act of anarchy. As Sejm we should expect disciplinary liability here, and not a second ruling, as we all expect, unlike the first!
As you can see, Szymon Hołownia clearly doesn’t know how to get out of the whole situation.
