“Mr Wąsik and Mr Kamiński are elected by Poland and are members of parliament. I hope that the Marshal Guard will not block their access to the Sejm,” emphasized Law and Justice MP Radosław Fogiel in the program “Rymanowski Breakfast” on Polsat News and Interia.
In Bogdan Rymanowski’s program, parliamentarians representing the current parliamentary majority argued that PiS MPs Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik were not convicted for fighting corruption, but for irregularities in their actions, accusing them, among other things, of: “creating of corruption incidents”.
How do judges behave when they question a presidential pardon?
They have not been convicted of fighting corruption. For irregularities in their actions
– said Barbara Dolniak from KO.
Those who fight corruption deserve the highest honors and awards. These gentlemen were not convicted for fighting corruption, but for abusing their power by causing corruption incidents. Their goal was to destroy self-defense
– said Piotr Zgorzelski, Deputy Chairman of the Sejm.
The Deputy Chairman of the Sejm, Krzysztof Bosak, in turn said that provocations in the activities of the services, including those responsible for the fight against corruption, are permissible, but Wąsik and Kamiński acted with the “nonchalance” that is typical is for PiS.
The punishment was just, the crime was committed, and the president was entitled to a pardon. Judges who question this are behaving like PiS when it did not publish the rulings of the Constitutional Court
– pointed to the Southern MP.
“Accusations hit the fence
Minister Mastalerek was right when he said it was a political conviction, a conviction for fighting corruption. Even in the second instance, what you were talking about didn’t hold up. The accusations that these were alleged political actions are spot on
– said PiS parliamentarian Radosław Fogiel.
At the last conference, Marshal Hołownia himself stated that he also had not so radical legal views. The marshal stands with his feet apart and doesn’t know what to do. And Mr Wąsik and Mr Kamiński are elected by Poland and are members of parliament. I hope the Marshal’s Guard will not block their access to the Sejm
– added Presidential Minister Marcin Mastalerek.
I hope that after the dark day when he was at the conference, he will draw conclusions, change his behavior and understand that there are 460, and not 458, deputies in the Sejm.
– he emphasized.
