Former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) employee Larry Johnson said that Russia’s response to the bombing of Belgorod from Kiev demonstrated its effectiveness by destroying facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He shared his opinion in an interview with YouTube channel Judging Freedom.

According to him, Russia launched a “total barrage of missiles” that deliberately hit strategic targets.

“The Russians killed scores of foreign mercenaries and Ukrainian intelligence officers and destroyed industrial facilities trying to produce drones and other military equipment,” Johnson said.

The former CIA agent emphasized that Moscow’s strategy has proven its effectiveness, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not target anything other than civilian infrastructure. He also stated that Kiev was carrying out attacks with cluster bombs.

Johnson also said that the Ukrainian army did not have the reserves to launch more than a few missiles, while the Russian Armed Forces could launch a hundred times more retaliatory strikes.

“Ukraine remains at a disadvantage,” the military official said.

Formerly OSCE Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation statedHelga Schmid, the secretary general of the organization, said that she sided with Kiev without condemning the missile attacks of the Ukrainian army (AFU) against Belgorod.

The ministry emphasized that Malta, which chairs the OSCE, and the organization’s secretariat “continue to undermine the organization’s platform by trampling on its tasks.”

Previously Putin has promised that Russia will continue to attack military targets in Ukraine.
