Grzegorz Dobosz, a retired soldier, long-term PO councilor and former head of the Military Reinforcement Command in Nowy Sącz, worked at TVP for a “trial period”. As “Dobry Tygodnik Sądecki” unofficially reports on his website, it involves working in security. Dobosz’s biography was somewhat “explored” by Nowy Sącz photographer Sylwester Adamczyk.
Who is Grzegorz Dobosz?
We started 2024 with a very strong personal accent on the Nowy Sącz – Warsaw line. As reported today by the DTS 24 portal, Grzegorz Dobosz, a resident of Nowy Sącz, a retired lieutenant colonel of the Polish Army, born in 1962, former head of the Nowy Sącz Military Supplement Command, and in the past councilor of Nowy Sącz and chairman of the city council became an employee of neo TVP in Warsaw, founded after the illegal and brutal takeover of the public media by “strong people” led by Lieutenant Colonel of the State Protection Agency Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz, Minister of Culture and National legacy in the government of Donald Tusk
– writes Sylwester Adamczyk on his Facebook profile.
The photographer emphasizes for DTS.pl that it is not known why it was decided to employ a retired soldier affiliated with the Civic Platform in the so-called “depoliticized” TVP and that it is a “trial period” for the time being.
The author of the Facebook post also points out that Grzegorz Dobosz’s biography from before 1989 also looks quite interesting.
Of the many positions that Grzegorz Dobosz fulfilled in his life, journalists and commentators on Nowy Sącz’s political life often forget one very important one. Well, Grzegorz Dobosz was a secret employee of the secret services of the Polish People’s Republic, in particular the Home Military Service, which was the military equivalent of the criminal security service, which held the civilian part of Polish society by the throat during the years of the communism.
– writes Adamczyk, citing information from the IPN Archival Inventory. As we read in the entry of a resident of Nowy Sącz, Dobosz “collaborated with WSW in 1981-90 and had the pseudonym ‘Tatar’, registration number 55932.”
According to Sylwester Adamczyk, when a new TVP employee ran for the Senate on behalf of the Civic Platform in 2011, he submitted a purge statement in which he admitted to collaborating with the military security services.
“It doesn’t bode well.”
The author of the article further explains what the WSW was, which survived the times of the Polish People’s Republic, and in the Third Polish Republic only the name changed – to WSI, i.e. Military Information Services. The WSI was only liquidated by the Government of Law and Justice, and the verification committee charged with this task was headed by Antoni Macierewicz.
How many former officers and secret employees of the WSW and WSI were or will be in the near future at Woronicza 17 and what tasks did Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz really assign them there? Time will tell. However, their presence in the neo-TVP does not bode well, either for Poland or for TVP itself. So far we have discovered the identity of one of them…
– summarizes Sylwester Adamczyk.
Well, if the information is confirmed, it must be admitted that Donald Tusk kept his promise, at least when he talked about “strong people.” However, voters who did not vote for PiS or the Civic Coalition were likely not interested in keeping their promises.
