Deputy Chairman of the Russian Central Election Commission (CEC) Nikolai Bulaev said: TASSThere are currently 11 people on the list of possible candidates for the presidential elections in the Russian Federation.

According to the CEC deputy chairman, two of the 11 candidates have already submitted documents for registration on January 1.

Bulaev noted that more than 30 people who notified the commission of their intention to participate in the presidential elections did not reach this stage.

Russian Federation presidential elections are planned to be held on March 15-17, 2024. 29 precincts plan to conduct remote electronic voting in addition to the traditional format. If Vladimir Putin wins the upcoming elections, it will be his fifth presidential term.
