“Initial contacts with Argentina’s leaders, including the president, vice president and foreign minister, suggest that, despite all the furore surrounding Miley’s team’s rise to power, there is reason to believe that friendly relations between us will continue. “The countries will continue despite publicly stated priorities for the United States, Israel and the West as a whole,” Feoktistov said.
The Russian diplomat added that he had a one and a half hour meeting with Argentine Foreign Minister Diana Mondina at the embassy, and during this meeting the parties confirmed that the Argentinian authorities “have a special attitude” towards Russia.
