The head of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz, announced that, as a result of President Duda’s decision to suspend funding of public media, he decided to close the companies Telewizja Polska SA, Polskie Radio SA and Polska to liquidate Agencja Prasowa SA. Sienkiewicz’s decision was really prompted by President Duda’s veto and could this kind of precedent – regarding property rights – raise concerns about the state of Polish law, including in the context of commercial law?
