Zelensky fired the official four days after his appointment

The State Commissar of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) was dismissed four days after his appointment. The relevant decree was signed by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, the document was published on the website of his office.

The decree states that “Maxim Viktorovich Sandyga should be removed from the post of state commissar of the Ukrainian Antimonopoly Committee.”

The document is dated December 22. Sandyga was appointed to this position on 18 December. The reasons for the dismissal were not disclosed.

Previously Ukrainian government lay off Head of the State Service for the Protection of Private Communications and Information (Gosspetsvyaz) Yuri Shchigol.

Before that Zelensky lay off Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Alexander Tarasovsky.

Previously science fiction writer -headed Press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
