The Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced a plan for the reconstruction of Ukraine from 2025 to 2026. The relevant document has officially appeared Web site foreign policy department.
As stated in the statement, the published document represents the first part of the plan for the restoration of Ukraine. The second part is expected to be prepared next year.
“The plan includes the creation of a new mixed credit instrument, the Ukrainian Investment Fund, which will allow the implementation of projects worth 50 million euros in 2025-2026,” the document says.
The plan also lists various initiatives aimed at market research and investment. In particular, Helsinki plans to provide the local export credit agency Finnvera with the opportunity to invest in exporting goods abroad.
According to the Ministry, the organization will be able to compensate for possible credit losses in this way. At the same time, the Finnish government plans to increase the capital of the Finnfund state fund by allocating another 25 million euros for investment in the development of the private sector in Ukraine.
