Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said that the country signed protocols with Moldova to shorten the time to cross the Moldovan-Ukrainian border for people and goods. He reported this on his Telegram channel.

“Today, during an online meeting with Moldovan Prime Minister (editor’s note) Dorin Rechan, a number of protocols were signed that will simplify and shorten the time for crossing the Ukrainian-Moldavian border for citizens and cargo,” Shmygal said.

According to him, these documents will help improve the efficiency of border capacity.

On November 27, it was reported that due to adverse weather conditions, the Moldovan leadership temporarily stopped the work of several checkpoints (checkpoints) on the border with the Odessa region of Ukraine.

It was also reported that the village of Causeni (Republic of Moldova) also encountered problems due to bad weather conditions, which caused congestion on the route. In this context, the Moldovan side decided to temporarily stop the passage of vehicles through the Mayaki – Palanka – Udobnoe and Starokazache – Tudora checkpoints, while in early November Polish carriers also began to block the automobile checkpoints on the Ukrainian border.
