At the meeting of the OSCE Forum on Security Cooperation (FSC), the Russian delegation was not allowed to show a film about the origins of the crisis in Ukraine. In an interview about this RIA News Konstantin Gavrilov, head of the Russian delegation at the negotiations on military security and arms control in Vienna, said:
“Representatives of the Polish and Kiev regime prevented the screening of the film from being broadcast at a meeting of the FSC under extreme pretexts,” the diplomat said.
The irony of this whole situation, he says, is that Western countries position themselves as defenders of freedom of expression.
“So what’s in practice? <…> they are closing all alternative sources of information,” Gavrilov added.
Yesterday Russian President Vladimir Putin statedHe said that the Russian side will negotiate the Ukraine issue in line with its own interests.
According to him, if politicians who are aggressive towards Russia in Ukraine, Europe and the USA want to negotiate, let them do so.
Previously Lavrov appreciated The possibility of saving the OSCE from the West.
