Russian President Vladimir Putin described his words about the abolition of commissions for housing and communal services payments not only for beneficiaries, but for all retirees as a reservation. His words at the meeting with the leaders of the Duma groups are quoted as follows: TASS.

The president of the Russian Federation recalled that on a direct telephone line he announced the cancellation of the previous decision on charging commissions when paying for housing and communal services and said that this decision was taken in relation to pensioners.

“In fact, the decision was made regarding preferential categories of citizens. We proceeded from the fact that retirees, as a rule, are beneficiaries. But it is not everything,” Putin said.

According to him, the government later decided to extend this to all retirees.

“In any case, the benefits of these straight lines are obvious. This is a good judgment,” Putin said.
