On Thursday at 4 p.m., the Hanukkah menorah lighting ceremony will take place in the main hall of the Sejm. The meeting will be attended by President Andrzej Duda, Chairman of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia and the Presidium of the Sejm. Two days earlier, the ceremony was disrupted by Confederation MP Grzegorz Braun, who used a fire extinguisher to extinguish burning candles.
As reported by the Chancellery of the Sejm in October (formerly Twitter), the relevant services, including the Marshal’s Guard, are monitoring all signals regarding the security of Thursday’s ceremony lighting the Hanukkah menorah in Parliament.

The Warsaw Public Prosecutor’s Office officially initiated proceedings regarding Tuesday’s events in the Sejm, with the participation of Grzegorz Braun. The head of the Sejm Chancellery, Jacek Cichocki, also sent a request to the prosecutor’s office on suspicion of a crime committed by a Southern parliamentarian.
