Sweden will allocate $1.4 million to support Ukrainian TV channel

The Swedish government announced the allocation of 15 million kroner ($1.4 million) to support the Ukrainian television channel Suspilne (“Public”). This is stated in press service State Office.

The allocation of funds is planned for three years and can be used “to create suitable platforms for digital news information and strengthen the journalistic potential of Ukraine.” Swedish agency SIDA and radio company Sveriges Radio have been supporting Suspilne since 2017.
