Manfred Weber is the leader of the European People’s Party and the most important German MEP. In an interview for the Financial Times, he shared his thoughts on the immigration pact. It’s good that he finally told the truth, even if his words can shock decent people.
In the interview, Webber states that more efforts should be made to limit immigration. This is a completely justified demand that has been put forward by European Conservatives and Reformists for years. Uncontrolled immigration burdens the social security systems of the Member States of the European Union.
There are also more serious threats.
The multimillion-dollar wave from Asia and Africa includes many radicalized followers of Islam, but also ordinary bandits spreading fear, terror and anti-Semitism in the streets of European cities. The influx of culturally alien newcomers could also permanently disrupt the demographic structure of our continent, resulting in political, economic and cultural changes. These are very serious concerns and Brussels should finally convene a roundtable on an issue that – apart from the possibility of a conflict with Russia – poses the greatest threat that could even lead to the collapse of the European Union. Does Manfred Weber use such arguments in his interview? By no means.
This dear friend of Donald Tusk and a declared enemy of Law and Justice says directly: we fear that the negative effects of immigration will be exploited by right-wing parties who can take power away from us.
So that’s all that matters? About the fear of losing power, influence and money. For years, Weber and others like him brought in immigrants en masse because they hoped this would be a way to destroy the European right wing. The plan was simple. Millions, and over time, tens of millions of culturally alien people would splinter the indigenous Europeans, robbing them of their identity and religious roots. When Angela Merkel launched ‘willkommen politics’ in 2015, it was not about helping people, but about destroying the structure of the European Union, based on nation states and traditional families. This plan failed.
The victims of this experiment were not only Europeans, but also the immigrants themselves, who were stuck in an existential vacuum.
However, Weber and associates are indifferent to their fate, unless it can help in the fight against the European right. And hence the sudden change of story. The wave of immigration has not wiped out the European right wing, but on the contrary strengthened it. Weber sensed this trend and suddenly wants to tighten the screws on the newcomers to stop the growing support for the conservatives. The problem of illegal immigration must be solved as quickly as possible, but it cannot be entrusted to people like the leader of the European People’s Party, because it is a path to human misfortune and a humanitarian catastrophe.
