The British government will create a new structure to monitor private companies’ compliance with the sanctions regime against Russia. This was reported citing a statement from the UK Department of Trade and Trade. TASS.

The document states that the Trade Sanctions Enforcement Service will be given the power to impose fines on private companies that violate the law and refer criminal cases to the national tax and customs office. The Ministry will start work at the beginning of next year. It will monitor the activities of companies that may violate sanctions imposed on Moscow by exporting their products to Russia through third countries.
