The European Union has imposed sanctions on two representatives of the military command of the Palestinian radical movement Hamas. This was reported by Web site Council of Europe.
“The Council decided to add two people to the EU terrorist list. The statement stated that this decision is part of the European Union’s response to the threat posed by Hamas and its brutal and indiscriminate terrorist attacks against Israel on October 7, 2023.
Among the sanctions were the commander-in-chief of Hamas’s military wing, Mohammed Deif, and the deputy commander of Hamas’s military wing, Marwan Issa.
Sanctions are valid from today.
