Finally! Editor Kolenda-Zaleska decided to break her station’s silence on the windmill scandal. However, anyone who thought she was simultaneously explaining to viewers who was responsible for a huge lobbying scandal and a legal mess is wrong. Traditionally, in accordance with Wiertnicza’s mercy, she attacked Prime Minister Morawiecki, whom she accused of… lack of action regarding the psychiatric hospital in Gdańsk. Did she not know that the appropriate address for questions on this matter is the office of the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship?
Did @MorawieckiM @premierRP, who fights against windmills, do anything about the provincial psychiatric hospital in Gdańsk, which had to suspend admissions to the children’s ward? What does he have to say, what decisions has he made? Him or someone from the two-week government
– asked editor Kolenda-Zaleska on the X website.
Among other things, he responded to the words of the journalist: MEP Dominik Tarczyński, who pointed out that “the provincial hospital is subordinate to the Marshal – Mieczysław Struk, PO”
Thank you for your attention and shame, Madam Editor
– added the MEP.
Unfortunately, the politician received no answer. Likewise, many netizens commented on Kolenda-Zaleska’s words. It is known that “the truth has been established and no amount of facts can change that.” However, we take our readers seriously. Therefore, let’s deconstruct the version prepared for the local version of “Radio Yerevan” and show the reality.
Well, it is true that the children and youth ward is of the Provincial Psychiatric Hospital. Prof. Tadeusz Bilikiewicza in Gdańsk has stopped accepting new patients since the beginning of this month. The hospital management tries to explain in the local media that ‘there is no other option’ because the situation is ‘getting worse every month’.
However, the problems of the facility, which is operated by the Pomeranian Voivodeship Marshal’s Office, are nothing new. They have been going on for years, and already in November 2019 (!) the field representative of the Commissioner for Human Rights drew attention to them, pointing out that hospital conditions in this institution are very difficult.
The excessive number of admitted patients resulted in the need for “extra beds” (mattresses directly on the floor) and the density of patients in the rooms. Another problem seems to be that there are too few doctors to meet the needs for good treatment
– warned the spokesperson.
Traces of the Ombudsman’s polemics with the hospital management can still be found on the Ombudsman’s website and in local media, including responses from the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, who responded – rather clumsily – to the Ombudsman’s allegations .
In case anyone missed it, we would like to remind you that this honorable office was held by Adam Bodnar from 2015-2021. He could be suspected of many things, but he wasn’t a camouflaged agent of the Kaczyst regime, was he?
