Andrzej Szejna from left was asked a question about Siemens’ past. The MP argued that it was the first time he had heard about it, but added that “it had been a while”.
Siemens is a manufacturer of wind turbines. And the issue of building windmills in Poland is controversial because of an act that appeared in the Polish Sejm.
Andrzej Szejna was a guest on Radio Zet, where he was asked a question by a viewer. It was about Siemens’ past and its role during World War II.
Don’t know. I know Hugo Bos. And I don’t hesitate to buy a suit sometimes. But I don’t know Siemens
– replied the left-wing MP.
The presenter of the program explained to him what this German company did during the reign of Adolf Hitler.
He participated in the production of V1 V2 rockets and played an important role in the Nazi system of state monopolies created for the needs of the economy of the Third Reich.
– said Beata Lübecka.
In response, Szejna recalled that a certain well-known brand also sewed uniforms for the German army.
I certainly don’t see anything glorious here, but every now and then I can buy a suit from Hugo Boss, who sewed uniforms for the Wehrmacht. Well, that was a while ago
– he said.
