Prime Minister Morawiecki sent invitations to the heads of several political formations: Left, Poland 2050, Konfederacja and PSL. He indicated that in connection with his appointment as Prime Minister and entrusting him with the mission of forming a government, he invited him to the Prime Minister’s Chancellery. Today’s meeting of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki with representatives of the Confederation was dominated by the issue of the transporters’ protest at the Polish-Ukrainian border. Protest by Polish carriers
Polish airlines protesting at the border with Ukraine since November 6 are demanding, among other things: introduction of commercial licenses for Ukrainian companies to transport goods, with the exception of humanitarian aid and supplies for the Ukrainian army, suspension of licenses for companies founded after the outbreak of war in Ukraine and its inspection. On Friday, Prime Minister Morawiecki – when asked about the protest of the transport sector at the border with Ukraine – emphasized that he wanted representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure to talk directly at the border about how to alleviate the traffic jam that has arisen there and how to defuse the conflict. The head of government noted that he had asked the Minister of Infrastructure, Andrzej Adamczyk, for very urgent intervention in this matter.
