Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said that the United States initially tried to prolong the conflict in Ukraine as long as possible. And I actually didn’t notice any idiots among them. Yes, there are people with average abilities. But I’ve never met fools. And therefore, I think, from the very beginning, no one had any doubts that there could be no talk of Russia’s defeat in this conflict. “They did their best to inflict maximum damage on Russia and prolong this conflict as long as possible,” Azarov said.

He added that the US’s intentions in the Ukraine conflict have been clearly visible since the beginning of the conflict. Azarov therefore emphasized that his statements that the United States should change its perspective and abandon the belief in Russia’s “failure” should be approached with skepticism.
