Anna Maria Żukowska, a left-wing MP known, among other things, for her high activity on social media, decided to delete her account on the X platform.
Żukowska deleted her account on the X platform (formerly Twitter) on November 3. Why did she do it?
Because I’ve had enough
– she briefly answered the question from “Gazeta Wyborcza” on this issue.
“GW” speculates that it may be about Żukowska’s approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the hatred she received as a result.
I’m flying to Israel on November 5. That has the right to exist, has the right to defend itself against terrorists and at the same time has no right to commit war crimes
– wrote Żukowska. Meanwhile, much of the left in the world, including in Poland, is pro-Palestinian. Therefore, Żukowska’s position was very controversial in her own environment.
When asked whether the reason for deleting the account was hatred related to her statements on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Żukowska replied that if she wanted to give reasons for her decision, she would provide them herself before deleting the account.
All I can say is that I’ve been on Twitter for 10 years and have seen and read a lot about myself
– she emphasized.
