I want to appeal to the parliamentarians of the Third Way, the Confederation and other clubs who are concerned about the social and sovereignty program and the issue of the fight against illegal migration, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in an interview for Interia published on Saturday.
“‘PiS won the elections’
First of all, I would like to appeal to the parliamentarians of the Third Way, the Confederation and other clubs concerned with the social and sovereignty program and the issue of the fight against illegal migration. We will see how many such righteous people will be among the opposition MPs
– said the head of the government.
As he added: “There was no election commission called +Opposition+”.
PiS won the elections. The opposition is trying to communicate – I see it, I notice it and I can count. But perhaps if we present the risks and opportunities we will gain the support of new parliamentarians
– said the Prime Minister.
According to Morawiecki, ‘the emotions before the elections that pushed ‘PSL’ into the arms of the Civic Coalition are one thing, and the reflection and question they should ask themselves is another:
Do we really want to become PO’s sidekicks?
The independence in a loose coalition with our camp would be much greater, believe me
– Morawiecki noted.
“We will fight until the end”
When asked what the percentage chance was that this scenario would become reality, the head of government replied:
I cannot and do not want to estimate it in percentages. There are opportunities as long as MPs can decide. We will fight to the end so that PiS’s victory in the elections can translate into the implementation of our program. Will this mission succeed? This will become clear in a few days, when the President entrusts us with the mission as a first constitutional step.
