“Do I understand correctly that the legalization of abortion, which gave the opposition victory over PiS, was reduced in coalition talks to a possible “compromise” on the decriminalization of abortion aid? – asks Jan Śpiewak on social media. This is a commentary on the opposition’s talks, the details of which are unclear.
As he said today, among other things, the leader of the Third Way, Szymon Hołownia, there is a long discussion about abortion. Each leader would go to the elections with a different idea to solve this issue. Earlier, PSL leader Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz drew attention to the lack of agreement on the issue of abortion in the coalition agreement.
Do I understand correctly that the legalization of abortion, which gave the opposition victory over PiS, was reduced in coalition talks to a possible “compromise” on the decriminalization of abortion aid? Is this some kind of joke? Where’s the Women’s Strike to barricade themselves in Tusk’s office?

It is even worse, because even this ‘compromise’ will probably not be achieved in the coalition agreement
And this is just the beginning of broken promises
The surprise comes from the assumption that abortion and LGBT have won. Meanwhile, anti-or groups that are cautious on these issues have a majority in the Sejm.
Potential future coalition partners know that their pro-women position was based on lies. Because they wanted to show the consequences of the Constitutional Court ruling, they always used cases related to the conscience clause, which is a different topic. Apparently they thought all they had to do now was stop lying.
It should come as no surprise that the opposition is already backtracking on its promises, given that politicians have already said they will tailor the promises and their implementation to their voters. This means nothing other than populism in the election campaign.
