Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev evaluated French leader Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Astana as a historical event. This has been reported press service head of the republic.

The French leader noted that the parties have every chance to move forward on important international issues and emphasize their commitment to the UN Charter, territorial integrity and national sovereignty principles.
Macron announced the signing of “important contracts” that will improve strategic and economic relations between France and Kazakhstan.
