“I hope that Law and Justice, together with its coalition partner, will continue its mission to govern Poland. In my opinion, our country needs it,” said Michał Dworczyk, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Chancellery, in “Trójka’s Political Salon” on Program 3 of Polish Radio.
The minister was asked about the mood in the Prime Minister’s Office, whether preparations are currently being made for the continuation of the Cabinet or perhaps for the transfer of tasks to the current opposition.
In the Prime Minister’s Chancellery, everyone carries out their duties. For now, we wait for the president’s decision on who he will entrust with the task of forming the new government
– replied Michał Dworczyk.
The opposition talks
He also referred to the opposition’s ongoing coalition talks.
There are many conflicting messages. However, there is one element that unites all opposition parties: reluctance towards PiS or the desire for revenge
– noted the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Chancellery.
At the same time, he expressed the hope that “regardless of who forms the parliamentary majority and, consequently, the new government, it will – firstly – be stable, and secondly – it will focus on the substantive work that Poland needs.”
We live in unstable times. Therefore, substantive work, and not the desire for retaliation or non-substantive activities, should be the essence here.
– added.
Continuation of the mission
However, Dworczyk clearly emphasized that he and his coalition partner are counting on Law and Justice to continue the mission of governing Poland.
In my opinion, Poland needs this
– he announced.
I don’t want to judge how realistic it is. However, any political group that wins the elections, and PiS won the elections, tries to create a majority that will allow it to form a government and rule. In this case, for the continuation of the government that guided our country for two terms through a very stormy sea of international and internal politics, because we had both a pandemic and a war in Ukraine, and now we also have a conflict in Ukraine . the Middle East. There are many challenges and that is why – I repeat – Poland needs a stable government
– emphasizes Michał Dworczyk.
