Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Council of Ministers to develop a national project for the development of the space industry by July 1, 2024. His words are quoted TASS.
“I ask the government to develop it before July 1, 2024.” <…> a corresponding national project,” Putin said at a meeting on the development of the rocket and space industry.
As an example, the head of state cited the national project for the development of unmanned aerial systems, which significantly increases the effectiveness of joint efforts to create a new sector.
Putin noted that such a national project would make it possible to gather science and engineering schools, state resources and private enterprises “in one fist.” He suggested using a similar approach in the development of the space sector of the Russian economy.
