Changing EU treaties is a process aimed at eliminating the independence of states and nations in favor of the dominance of the German option, PiS vice-president Antoni Macierewicz said on TV Republika on Wednesday. He noted that the Polish government will decide on the adoption of these solutions between February and April 2024.
The European Parliament’s Committee on Constitutional Affairs (AFEC) adopted a report recommending changes to the EU treaties in Wednesday’s vote. Twenty members voted in favor of the report, six were against.
Abolition of the unanimity rule
The main proposed changes include the abolition of the principle of unanimity in voting in the EU Council in 65 areas and the transfer of powers from Member State level to EU level. by creating two new exclusive EU competences – in the areas of environmental protection and biodiversity (Article 3 TFEU) and a significant extension of shared competences (Article 4), which would cover eight new areas: foreign and security policy, border protection, forestry , public health, civil protection, industry and education.
This is the beginning of a process that aims, among other things, to eliminate independence. the Polish state, so that the German option could dominate all nations and states that are members of the EU
– said Macierewicz.
Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, a representative of not only Civic Platform, but especially PSL, should answer why his people within the European People’s Party accepted such a change in the structure of the European Union, turning it into a kind of totalitarian state
– said the vice president of PiS.
I am waiting for the PSL President’s response on this issue
– Macierewicz added.
He emphasized that the planned changes “are not about the federal state.”
This must be a state in which decisions on the most fundamental individual, social, ideological and educational issues, such as security and foreign affairs, must be made at headquarters.
– said the vice president of PiS.
As he said, “we have been given the task as a nation to organize ourselves so that this can be prevented at all costs.”
This is the main task of Law and Justice
– he declared.
Macierewicz pointed out that the process of changes in the EU will end around March-April 2024.
This is not a discussion or propaganda, but a process designed to destroy us as a nation and as a people. For example, it explicitly states that male-female relations must be defined by gender ideology
– Macierewicz noted.
As he judged: “This is an ideology of madness, anti-human – both in our individual issues and in the structure of the nation, as well as in the economy and security of our country.”
He said that “there will be no more state, only a kind of country.”
There will also be no national armies, only a European army, and in a certain perspective – an alliance with Russia and the creation of a large Eurasian structure between Germany ruling Europe and Russia ruling Eurasia.
– he explained.
He pointed out that “Poland, by joining the EU, did not guarantee its autonomy, like Denmark, for example.”
He stressed that “it is necessary to make Polish society aware of what changes in the EU treaties lead to, and therefore of what is implemented by Germany and what is implemented by the European People’s Party.”
Maintaining the independence government
His second priority was “to maintain the independence government in Poland at all costs for as long as possible.”
It is the government that will ultimately decide between February and April 2024 whether it accepts this direction of change (…) whether we want to be free or whether we want to be slaves
– said the vice president of PiS.
This should remind us of our presence at the Independence March on November 11. I hope that everyone who took part in the parliamentary elections, regardless of how they voted, will also take part in activities for Poland’s independence.
– said Macierewicz.
If we do not structure the independence formation, if PiS cannot work towards independence together with the majority of the nation, we will lead the candidates to destroy us, liquidate us and transform us into an addition to the German formation. The Germans will use us, they will sell us, they will rule us
– he assessed.
The principle of primacy is the cornerstone of the EU legal order, which is essential for the functioning of the EU. Although not expressly mentioned in the Treaties, it has developed through the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU).
– say the authors of the report.
