Tomorrow, the European Parliament’s Committee on Constitutional Affairs will vote on the draft amendment to the European Treaties, which will turn the EU into a federation, where member states will be deprived of the right to veto, and some will even be deprived of their commissioners – MEP wrote Beata Szydło Tuesday evening on the X platform (formerly Twitter).
Tomorrow, the European Parliament’s Committee on Constitutional Affairs will vote on the draft amendment to the European Treaties, which will turn the European Union into a federation, in which Member States will be denied the right to veto, and some will even be denied the right of their commissioners.
– wrote MEP Beata Szydło.
In addition, the European Commission will be replaced by a 15-member executive branch, to which most of the key powers of the member states will be transferred – including foreign, defense and energy policy. Even education and forest management should be part of the powers of the executive
– she added.
An executive branch that controls every aspect of Europeans’ lives from Brussels sounds like the plot of Orwell’s book, but this is exactly the future of the EU that the left-liberal majority in the European Parliament sees
– wrote Szydło. As she added: “Berlin also dreams of this and openly demands this form of Europe.”
In this vision of the Union, Poland (like most member states) will be reduced to the role of a Euroregion governed from Brussels.
– wrote the MEP.
