There were packs and locusts. Now Marek Belka has gone even further in his policy of contempt! The former Prime Minister, former President of the National Bank of Poland, but also a former activist of the Polish United Workers’ Party, wants to carry out a “rat removal” in companies of the state finance (sic!).
“The most important thing now is that we don’t argue with each other.”
The MEP, elected from the lists of the European Coalition, spoke in an interview with money.pl about the first steps after the elections that – in his opinion – the opposition should take.
The most important thing now is to build a government team that will manage economic affairs. This must be done in a way that does not upset voters
– he said, adding sincerely that “the most important thing now is not to quarrel with each other.”
The former prime minister and former president of the National Bank of Poland argued that the budget drawn up by the PiS government “should be adopted and then amended in the first half of next year.” What else would he like to achieve?
We must immediately cure the public media, especially public television, and initiate a slow but consistent process of economic education of society. This is an issue that we have never properly remembered since the time of Jacek Kuroń, and now something must be done about it. We must make changes in state-owned enterprises as soon as possible and deal with all these so-called brothers-in-law.
– he said.
Belka announces… “de-ratification” at state-owned companies (sic!)
And it was this topic – state-owned enterprises – that received widespread attention. All because of the scandalous term used by the MEP.
Democratic party voters will not tolerate people who were political appointees in Treasury Department companies. We will not split hairs and wonder when we will have the right number of civil service professionals to take over the offices. Cleanup needs to be done quickly
he announced in devastating words.
To the journalist’s comment that the aim was to “depoliticize state finances,” Belka responded:
Of course this is a priority. Competitions must be introduced, the civil service must be strengthened, all this must be done, but Obajtek cannot be retained until we find a new candidate after two years. Just don’t do it.
Shocking contempt from a former communist party apparatchik!
– They no longer plan to hire ‘experts’? Gawkowski reveals the plan for Orlen: the authorities must have a new political background
— Leszczyna announces changes: “I cannot imagine that the draft budget prepared by PiS will be implemented.” I’m afraid of what they’ll come up with!
— Belka criticizes PiS and accuses the NBP of politicization. Did he forget the octopuses with Sienkiewicz? “It was a private conversation at the time.”
