We are fighting to retain power and the parliamentary majority. We will talk to anyone who has a similar national program, Robert Telus, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, said in an interview for Wednesday’s Super Express.
When asked in an interview for “Super Express” whether he had resigned himself to being in the opposition or whether he would fight to retain power, Minister Telus replied:
We are fighting to retain power and the parliamentary majority.

Coalition talks
We will talk to anyone who has a similar national program
– added.
When asked if he worked at PSL and Konfederacja, he said:
It takes two to tango. We are open to conversations. You can talk to people.
As we read in ‘SE’, the minister ‘regrets’ that Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz does not want to form a coalition with the current government.
But don’t worry, we will look for solutions. PSL already showed itself negatively when it went to the European elections with the entire opposition and was very poorly received by farmers and the countryside. People made a rainbow clover from a green clover. Farmers accused PSL of betraying rural ideals. I hope PSL won’t make this mistake again
– we are reading.
When asked what he believes contributed to PiS’s defeat in the elections, he said:
The things that damaged us during the election campaign were the issue of visas. But it was not the fault of the minister or his department. And this thing has hurt us the most.
The issue of abortion
On the issue of abortion and the Constitutional Tribunal’s ruling, Telus admitted that this could have closed the way for young voters, but added that “we cannot give up certain things, and that is the issue of abortion.”
Unfortunately, young people do not see a threat in what is happening. I would like to point out that it is incomprehensible to me to boycott the referendum, for example. about whether we want illegal immigrants in Poland. I don’t understand how people can be drugged because I’m convinced that most people don’t want illegal immigrants in our country
– Telus told SE.
If the opposition forms a majority in the Sejm, I don’t predict it will rule for a long time, because there are well over a dozen different parties there. There are completely different ideas, programs and interests there. Right now they have one thing in common: removing PiS from power, and that’s it. I think the anti-PiS coalition, if formed, will fall apart in the middle of next year, after the local elections
– he said.
