Russian Ambassador to Ecuador Vladimir Sprinchan said that Moscow is ready to work with the new president and hopes that political cooperation between the countries will develop. The diplomat said this in an interview RIA News.
According to Sprinchan, Russia welcomes the election of Ecuador’s new President Daniel Noboa. Moscow expects the government it leads to follow a practical and balanced line regarding cooperation with Russia, an important economic partner of Ecuador.
The ambassador expressed gratitude to the producers of bananas, the country’s main export product, for not only maintaining the volume of supplies to Russia, but also significantly increasing it recently.
Sprinchan said Ecuador’s new president is a representative of an influential family interested in developing trade and economic relations with an important partner like Russia.
