The editorial staff of the wPolityce.pl portal receives further disturbing information about the incorrect behavior of members of election committees! The case again concerns Warsaw – this time the committee in Bemowo. As identified by the wPolityce.pl portal, committee members ask voters about referendum maps. In addition, international observers also stayed there.
In Warsaw they ask for a referendum card
We have already informed about problems with collecting the ballots in the referendum, which Marcin Wikło, a journalist from the weekly magazine “Sieci” and the portal wPolityce.pl, encountered at the polling station in Bielany, Warsaw. Similar events are also taking place at the polling station in the capital Bemowo.
As wPolityce.pl discovered, people who sit on the election commission ask those who want to vote to provide them with a referendum card. In addition, international observers were also present at the location.
The wPolityce.pl portal found that questions from committee members about the referendum map are causing confusion and consternation among many voters.

Questions asked in committees throughout Poland
Social media users point out that such a procedure is taking place in many parts of Poland.
I personally reported violations of the electoral law in more than thirty election commissions to the OKW in Poznań. There are many indications that these are just some of the irregularities. Almost all reports relate to the issuance of referendum cards. The OKW in Poznań does not answer the phone from 11.30 am
– said Bartłomiej Wróblewski.
Questions about the referendum map have also been addressed to voters in Gdańsk and Rakowiec near Kwidzyn, as informed by Kacper Płażyński.
EXTREME! The question about “casting all ballots” is no longer asked when committee members and store managers intervene, and immediately returns as soon as anyone stops observing it. I receive applications from all over Kielce
– Marcin Stępniewski added.
Scandal! Absolutely all members of the electoral commission at ‘I’ in Warsaw ask the voters if they take the referendum card with them! Some voters are so surprised by this that they don’t know what to say! This suggests a choice!
– wrote Sławomir Cenckiewicz.
I am receiving information that members of the card issuing committee are asking whether they should issue a referendum card. I report each case to the district election commission in Kalisz
– added Jan Mosiński.
Because the phenomenon of referendum card suggestions is so widespread, publicity is also part of the plan. If the result is not to their liking, they will complain that it does not matter, and if it goes their way, complaints about this practice will not help, the EU will shrug. Democracy driven by provocations
– said Jakub Maciejewski.
At Electoral Commission No. 779 in Bielany, Warsaw, a female member of the commission asks whether she should also issue a ballot paper in the referendum. Too much of this throughout Poland, this is an action organized by totalists, who are shamelessly interfering in the electoral process
– emphasized Jacek Milewski.
The committee has no right to ask anything. The Commission cannot, by asking “whether a referendum card should be issued”, give the voter the feeling that part of the voting process (referendum) is less important or constitutes a form of manifestation. People should not be made to feel that they are doing something wrong by downloading a referendum map. Asking such a question can be interpreted as putting pressure on ‘how to vote’ and can therefore influence the election decision at a crucial moment. There are many assignments and different scenarios are conceivable. In a situation where only a few votes can determine the election outcome, this is a scandalous situation, especially since there are massive reports of irregularities.
– Wojciech Mucha noted.
My election commission asks if I want all three ballots. After pointing out that it was a form of agitation, they insisted it was because they had to tick off those who weren’t participating to know what the turnout was. In the end they agreed with me. I think the National Electoral Commission should pay attention to this problem, which is probably the result of poor training. After a rejection they can mark themselves
– wrote Maciej Świrski.
The same situation exists in my election committee in Szczecin. The lady who handed out the voting cards asked how many cards she should give. It’s illegal. There are already many posts about this issue at @PanstwKomWyb in Szczecin
– emphasized Tomasz Duklanowski.
At Election Commission No. 133 at Bernardyńska 14 in Warsaw, commission members ask all voters “should we issue all the cards?” How many cards to spend? Should we issue a referendum card? That is why they propose to refuse to participate in the referendum
– said Maciej Pawlicki.
PKW: Questions about the referendum map are inappropriate
Let us recall that the National Electoral Commission commented on the issue and highlighted it directly such behavior is inappropriate.
The chairman of the National Electoral Commission, Sylwester Marciniak, said on Sunday that it is inappropriate to ask whether the voter wants a ballot paper for a referendum, for the Sejm or for the Senate.
When a voter reports to the polling station, he or she wants to vote. Only if he expressly refuses to accept one of the cards will the committee include this information in the commentary
– he emphasized.
Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki also pointed out in a message on Twitter/X that additional questions about the referendum map break the electoral silence and should be reported.
