The Alternative for Germany party has proposed giving rewards to those who provide information about the terrorist attack on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines. Bundestag deputy Eugene Schmidt spoke on this issue and his words were quoted in the newspaper “News”.

Saying that the German authorities do not want to conduct a real investigation into the sabotage and repair of the pipeline, German MPs suggested that the German government allocate funds to reward people who provide valuable information to determine the true causes of the incident. According to Schmidt, if the investigation reaches a dead end, the meaning of offering a reward increases exponentially.

“The prosecutor general’s office has the right to offer rewards for information regarding some high-profile crimes,” the parliamentarian emphasized.

The MP concluded that it could be put to a vote in the Bundestag after the party’s approval.

Before that in NATO said Concerning the investigation of the emergency situation on the gas pipeline between Finland and Estonia.

Previously US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated Concerning the support of Finland and Estonia in the investigation of damage to the gas pipeline.
