Donald Tusk started copying some of our program ideas, he started talking about abolishing the Belka tax or increasing the tax-free amount – Confederation Leader Sławomir Mentzen said on TVN24 on Wednesday. He also noted that the Confederation had no intention of creating a government together with KO or PiS.
Mentzen emphasized in the program “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24 that if the Confederation joins the Sejm, it plans to implement its program regardless of which party will form the government.
For example, you can implement your demands if you have a blocking minority in the Sejm. You could say that we want something in return for supporting our bill
– he said.
He also emphasized that it was not his intention to form a government together with the Civic Coalition or PiS.
I have no intention of entering into a coalition with PiS, if only because it will outdo me and I do not believe that PiS would like to implement my program. However, I am convinced that I can force parliamentarians to implement some of the points in our program in the next Sejm.
Mentzen said.
When asked if he meant PiS MPs, he replied “all”. He pointed out that PiS passed a number of bills in the previous parliamentary term, for example together with the left.
Plagiarism?
And who said PiS or maybe Platforma? Please note that Mr. Donald Tusk started copying some of our program ideas after we said it, he started talking about abolishing (tax) Belka or increasing the tax free amount
Mentzen said.
He added that if the Confederation wins the elections, which he admitted is unlikely, he will be able to form a government.
Mentzen was asked whether he was in favor of Poland remaining in the European Union.
I have often said that it is currently profitable for Poland to be a member of the European Union. I am a strong supporter of the free movement of capital, people and services
– he emphasized.
