European Council President Charles Michel condemned the attacks against the people of the country in his telephone conversation with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh. He announced this on the social network X.
“In his meeting with the Palestinian Prime Minister, Shtayyeh condemned indiscriminate attacks against civilians and called for respect for international humanitarian law and the protection of civilian lives,” the statement said.
He also noted that the EU is ready to help restart the political process to resolve the situation.
