“Without Silesia we will not win; We will not win as a state, homeland, Poland, but we, as Law and Justice, need the votes of the Silesians, we need your support,” former Prime Minister and PiS member Beata Szydło argued in Ruda Śląska on Saturday.
If you love Poland, if you want Poland to be safe, to develop, for your families to be safe and not to worry about the future of your children – then vote for Law and Justice on October 15.
– Beata Szydło appealed during the PiS convention in Ruda.
Declaration for the Silesian province
During the meeting, PiS MPs and candidates presented the Declaration for the province. Silesia, which, among other things, emphasized the need to use domestic coal as a transitional fuel in the transformation, development of mining and processing of coking coal, support for industrial development and cooperation with local authorities, regardless of political views.
In her speech, the former Prime Minister pointed out that Ruda Śląska is a city built on similar foundations as the European Union, which started with the European Coal and Steel Community. As she said, the history of Ruda Śląska, where the Ruda mine and Huta Pokoje operate, was and is written by the mining and metal industry. She emphasized that these are industries and factories that are important for the region and Poland.
Beata Szydło recalled that in 2015, Law and Justice, among others, took part in the elections. with slogans in defense of Poland’s mining, industry and employment, which she said had been achieved. She argued that PiS still guarantees a successful future for mining.
“We want a safe, developing mining industry.”
We want Polish mining to be safe, develop and have prospects,” the former prime minister said. According to her, from the perspective of the European Parliament, “it is very clear how the interests of, for example, the German energy and mining industry are given preference over the Polish energy and mining industry; we cannot allow this
– she said.
According to Beata Szydło, we need people in both the European and national parliaments who “understand that energy security is also the development of our mining industry, because this gives us a chance for the future.” She emphasized that this is about modern, safe and adapted mining to the modern world.
The former Prime Minister pointed out that PiS did not allow the Civic Platform to destroy mining in 2015, and she is now making a similar statement.
We will defend employment in Silesia and give Silesia a chance to develop
– she emphasized.
“We want Silesia to become more beautiful and change”
The MEP pointed out that “Silesia has always been extremely important for Poland’s economic development.”
I believe this will continue to be the case. We want Silesia to become more beautiful and change. Silesia is not just about the economy – it’s about family, it’s about values, it’s about beautiful culture. Here, in Silesia, the Polish heart really beats
– she said.
Poland can be proud of how beautifully traditions are cultivated in Silesia, how beautiful the culture is here and how important this place is for economic development
– she added, emphasizing that to guarantee this, good representation in parliament is needed.
According to Beata Szydło, it is clear in the European Parliament that a “very cruel game of interests” is taking place, in which it is necessary to defend Polish interests – which she mentioned, among others: independence, sovereignty, energy security and economic development. She announced actions to make even better use of Silesia’s potential and called for “team play” in this regard.
Someone who doesn’t understand that politics is a team game loses. Poland needs to continue this program line and the policy we started in 2015.
– said Szydło, who appealed for the votes of Silesians in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
According to her, Silesia, Silesia and Polishness are closely linked.
Silesia is important for Poland, Poland – for Silesia
For Poland, Silesia is extremely important, and for Silesia, Poland is important
– she emphasized, calling to vote for the candidates and PiS MPs present in the room: Marek Wesoły, Bożena Borys-Szopa, Teresa Glenc, Jerzy Polaczek, Grzegorz Gaża, Piotr Pyzik, Robert Warwas, Grzegorz Matusiak and Piotr Czarnynoga.
They will always defend your business and your interests
she assured.
The former Prime Minister advised that when deciding whether to vote in the elections, we should answer the question of whether our lives are better and safer today.
Safety becomes the most important thing
– emphasized the former Prime Minister and judged that, for example, bad decisions have been made in the European Parliament regarding the migration pact.
Only Poland is currently in a position to oppose these very bad solutions being pushed by the European Parliament and at EU level. This is about our safety
– said Szydło.
