“There is an ongoing debate about the migration pact in the European Parliament. And this is an important debate for our country. We talk in campaigns about all kinds of issues (…), but there is one issue that, if resolved against our intentions and against the majority of our society, would change our lives and not for the better. This is a matter of displacement, forced introduction of illegal immigrants,” PiS President Jarosław Kaczyński said in Łódź.
During the meeting in Łódź, the leader of the United Right spoke about the dangers of allowing illegal immigration.
It is not about people who come to work here and have the right documents. It’s not about refugees either. It concerns those who want to come to Europe illegally, looking for an easy place to live here. For many of them there is data from Germany, there is data that says 60 percent are. of those do not work, 20 percent work occasionally, and only 15 percent are working. That’s why I’m talking about the ease of living without work.
If that were the only thing, it would also be difficult, because it is a burden for every citizen. They seriously disrupt order and security in individual countries. Starting with those who come here to carry out terrorist activities; it is of course a small minority, but it does not take many people to commit a terrorist act. Even one that leaves dozens of victims. After those who cause problems. (…) And this is a phenomenon that actually occurs wherever there is a larger group of them
– he pointed out.
There is a question: is it worth imitating Western Europe? In many ways it is undoubtedly worth it. And we have been doing that for thirty years. (…) There are many institutions, procedures and behaviors that are certainly worth transferring to us. Is it worth repeating their mistakes at the same time? (…) Well, I want to say it clearly: absolutely not!
– he emphasized.
And it is certainly not worth doing anything that would disrupt the value that has always been appreciated in Poland. This value is peace and the ability to lead a normal life. (…) Poland has changed enormously in these years and has become a safer country than thirty years ago. In that respect, we have quite a situation today. Let’s not let this break. I would like to make it clear that there is only one formation in Poland that, while in power, takes a clear position on this issue and does not succumb to pressure. This form is Law and Justice. Only we guarantee peace in Poland
– Kaczyński noted.
The PiS president pointed out that some political rivals of the current government now claim that they are also against illegal immigration. However, Kaczyński emphasized that they cannot be trusted because their position is simply a ‘tactic’.
What is the position of our competitors? Today, for tactical reasons, they are willing, like PSL, to say “absolutely no.” That’s what we heard recently. But this is just a tactic that is understandable today. (…) But is PSL a credible formation? They want one thing: they want to take us out of power and reap various benefits from this power in the old way. Are they representatives of the Polish countryside? Polish farmers? NO. They represent those who made money in different ways and privatized different things in the complicated 1990s. (…) These people do not deserve to be trusted, especially in this matter. As they are told in Brussels, as they are told in Warsaw, as their older brother, i.e. the Civic Platform, tells them: they will do it. Kosiniak-Kamysz once took it upon himself to raise the retirement age. And he also took it upon himself to accept money from OFE
– recalled President Kaczyński.
There are certain dependencies, different arrangements and they want to keep an eye on them. If they already have some power, the rest doesn’t matter to them. Don’t believe them!
– added.
About the Third Way, Kaczyński said it is “the same path that has been there all these years.”
It is the same path and we must remember that
– he emphasized.
